the village and surrounding areas that we will be exploring are hilly... in some places quite steep... uneven and at times slippery...

we will be walking... between 3 miles - 5 miles approx...

access to the boat will mean... on certain tides... having to go up or down a ladder...

much of the area we will be exploring is tidal... however... Sean knows the area and is very much aware of the tide at all times...

absolutely essential... wellington boots... you really need wellingtons with a good grip...

walking boots are better for walking the distances we will be covering... but you will get wet feet...

waterproofs... coat & trousers...

warm hat & gloves...

lots of layers of clothing... this is the north east coast of England...

sunglasses & sun cream... if your lucky with the weather...
